[GA4] Set up a repeat visitors audience

Follow these instructions to create an audience of users who visit your website more than 3 times.

Set up a repeat visitors audience

Before you begin

To create the audience you need the Editor role for the property in which you want to create the audience.

Create the audience

1. In Admin, under Data display, click Audiences.
2. Click New audience.
3. Under Start from scratch, click Create a custom audience.

   

4. Under Include Users when, go to Add new > Events.
5. Scroll through the event list and select session_start.

   

6. Next to session_start, go to + Add parameter > Other > Event count.
7. Set the Condition to greater than (>) and the Event count to 3.

   

8. Click Apply.
9. Rename your audience to something you'll find memorable and click Save.

   

10. Your new audience appears at the top of the management table.

    

Use the audience in Google Ads

To use the audience in Google Ads you need to:

• Activate Google Signals for the Analytics property
• Link your Google Ads and Analytics accounts and enable personalized advertising
