[GA4] Set up data collection for a CMS-hosted website

If you don't see your CMS listed here, check whether your CMS lets you add custom HTML. If it does, add your GA4 on-page tag as custom HTML.

Google Sites (supports a "G-" Measurement ID)

Paste your "G-" ID into the Google Analytics field that Sites provides (Google Sites instructions).

Your "G-" ID appears in the upper right of your Web stream details page.

It may take up to 30 minutes for data collection to start. You can then use the Realtime report to verify that you're receiving data.

Site Kit (WordPress plugin) (supports a "G-" Measurement ID)

Select your "G-" ID from the field that Site Kit provides (Site Kit instructions).

Your "G-" ID appears in the upper right of your Web stream details page.

It may take up to 30 minutes for data collection to start. You can then use the Realtime report to verify that you're receiving data.

TYPO3 (supports a "G-" Measurement ID)

Paste your "G-" ID into the Google Analytics field that TYPO3 provides (TYPO3 instructions).

Your "G-" ID appears in the upper right of your Web stream details page.

It may take up to 30 minutes for data collection to start. You can then use the Realtime report to verify that you're receiving data.

Wix (supports a "G-" Measurement ID)

Paste your "G-" ID into the Google Analytics field that Wix provides (Wix instructions).

WooCommerce (supports a "G-" Measurement ID)

WordPress.com (supports a "G-" Measurement ID)
