What kind of fapiao should I send you, and how?

The State Taxation Administration (STA) officially announced the nationwide rollout of fully digitalized electronic invoices (e-Fapiao) with effect from 1 December 2024. To comply with local Chinese legislation, Google will retrieve the e-Fapiaos from GTS directly with effect from 12 April 2025. This means manual submission of e-Fapiaos to Google is no longer required.

You'll need to provide a special advertising fapiao or information service fapiao.

It's important to review and comply with the updated invoicing guidelines to ensure your invoices are successfully submitted and paid on time. The steps you complete depend on whether you’re sending a paper fapiao or an electronic fapiao (e-Fapiao) to GTS.

If you’re sending an e-Fapiao to GTS

Manual submission of e-Fapiaos to Google is no longer required. Google will retrieve e-Fapiaos from GTS directly so you don’t need to submit printouts or emails.

To facilitate invoice processing and timely payment, remember to reference your publisher code and/or any other invoice identifiers in the “Remark” field on the GTS portal.
