Can books summary website get Google Adsense approve?

Question

I was thinking to make a book summary website to get Google Adsense. However, I am worried that it will not be approved because of copyright issues though I won't copy the entire sentence of the text included in the books.

If your main aim is to monetise with Adsense, then there's no point at all as that is guaranteed to fail. 
 
If you love books and want to make a catalogue of the books you have read, then go ahead, but don't expect to be approved for Adsense.  When you start a site, you're months away from being eligible for any form of advertising, so it's best to make a site for your own sake, and for the sake of people who might find it interesting. 
 
But if you're not planning on writing lengthy articles, or anything original, then there's no chance of Adsense anyway.
