Sharp drop in Page CTR from “Visit Site” button on mobile ad clicks

I know there is ad Adsense step against Accidental Clicks On ads..
TWO-CLICK verify something called “Visit Site” button on mobile ad clicks
I found number of articles about this as a result of which my page CTR decreased and it really matches what happens to me.

this is the problem i am sure i have
https://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/116046/drastic-drop-in-adsense-click-through-rate-ctr-from-visit-site-button-on-mob

I'm sure I'm experiencing this problem with the "Visit Site" button.
I positioned the ads in a similar way to how Google videos show how ads are placed
So really I have no idea how to solve the problem,
I tried changing ad sizes on the mobile display. But the problem exists because the percentage of clicks is still low
Please help

It means that a lot of people were arriving at your site from accidental clicks on mobile ads. Now they aren't.

The two-step click is designed so that people who accidentally click an ad (most often because of ad placement) don't get sent to your site if that isn't where they want to go.  It helps prevent invalid traffic.

It can be due to ad size, but also to ad placement and how many ads are on your site.

Even if you change ad sizes / placement on your site, I'm not sure if that would lead to immediate change from two-click ads to single-click ads (if those expressions make sense).

It's very important to test your site on different mobile devices (use browser developer tools / emulators). One of the biggest issues seems to be a large unit on the first screen that people may mistake for a link within your site, because the page content is nowhere to be seen (only header, menu / navigation, and ads) .

Hi thanks for your answers

Hi Gracey
How are accidental clicks related to the number of ads?
Not that I claim to have a lot of ads on my website, it just doesn't make sense for people to accidentally click because there are many advertisements.
I have one ads unit on screen

Hi wasaweb
Adsense itself says its ok to use 300*250 on mobile first screen
you can see from this video on 1:44
https://youtu.be/e4hlGNKa4yQ?t=104

How can i make google adsense scan my website and remove this act?
I change the ads size on my first screen on mobile.
What else can i do..
Everything goes via adsense rules

How are accidental clicks related to the number of ads?

It isn't specific to the number of ads, more so to the placement of the ads, but the more ads there are the greater the chance of an accidental click as well.

As an example, if you land on a page that has 3 ads, maybe one in the sidebar, one in the footer and a small one at the beginning of the content, versus a site that has an ad taking up most of the space at the top of the content, 3 in the sidebar, one after every paragraph on the page, and another in the footer ...  you have a fairly large chance of someone clicking accidentally on the ads, particularly those in the content, but again ... depending on the placement.

Accidental clicks are accidents - something a person didn't actually intend to do - on mobile, that's a lot easier to do than on a website, but it happens on websites as well.

Not having seen the site, the ad placements, or the issue all we can do is give possibilities.

As Gracey indicated, it's actually hard to comment without seeing the site in question. Please post your site's address.
