Contributors are preventing Google from providing REAL customer service.

If contributors stopped spending their time helping for free maybe Google would be forced to provide REAL customer service.

If contributors stopped helping...there wouldn't be any support at all, except through the forms in the help center.

They aren't going to provide "REAL" customer service to people they don't see as "customers".

Fools of us? Well, I certainly enjoyed meeting the other fool a few months back at GooglePlex...for fools, they're a bunch of good folks.

So explain how they are making fools out of us. I'm all ears. Maybe you can convince me to quit offering help to other publishers.

>>> provide REAL customer service.

They needed REAL customers in order to do so. People asking in here are no customers, they mostly aren't even business partners yet - or not anymore. I don't see what a "customer support" should be good for in this situation?

Levels

Member levels indicate a user's level of participation in a forum. The greater the participation, the higher the level. Everyone starts at level 1 and can rise to level 10. These activities can increase your level in a forum:

  • Post an answer.
  • Having your answer selected as the best answer.
  • Having your post rated as helpful.
  • Vote up a post.
  • Correctly mark a topic or post as abuse.

Having a post marked and removed as abuse will slow a user's advance in levels.
