Change the payment address and country in your AdSense account

Generally, you can change the country in your account by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to your AdSense account.
  2. Click the gear icon and select Payments.
  3. In the left sidebar, click Payee profile.
  4. In the "Payee profile" section, click Edit.
  5. Update your payment address in the "Address" fields.
  6. Select your preferred country, and click OK to confirm that you want to change your country.
  7. Click Save.


However, there are three situations in which you won't be able to change your country directly within your account:

  • The payment currency in your account currently isn't available as a payment currency in your new country.
  • You’re changing your profile address to a country outside of your contracting entity
  • You're located in or changing your country to one of the following: China, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, or Singapore.
    Due to system and legal constraints, we're not able to change your country if you're located in or need to change to an address in one of these countries.

In any of these cases, you will need to close your existing account and open a new account using your desired address. Please visit here to begin the cancellation process. Once the cancellation process is complete, submit an application for a new account here.
