Time zones and currencies in AdMob

When you sign up for AdMob, you'll either select time zones and currencies or they'll be imported from your existing AdSense and Google Ads accounts.

Note: To ensure your reporting data is accurate and up-to-date, set the same time zone for your AdSense and Google Ads accounts.

How are my apps affected by time zone and currency settings?

App-related dashboards and reporting data are updated based on your AdSense account settings.

  • Time zone: App-related dashboards and reports are based on your AdSense time zone.

  • Payment currency: This is the currency AdMob will pay you in when you earn revenue with AdMob.

Note: Different payment options and reporting currencies are available to you depending on your payment address. You can change your AdSense reporting time zone later, but you can’t change your payment currency.

How are campaigns affected by time zone and currency settings?

Campaign-related dashboards and reporting data are updated based on your Google Ads account settings.

  • Time zone: Campaign dashboards and reports are based on your Google Ads time zone. The time zone for a Google Ads account is permanently set during account creation and cannot be changed for individual serving accounts. This is because the time zone affects billing and reporting. To use a different time zone, a new Google Ads account must be created with the desired time zone selected during setup. If you are using an existing account with an incorrect time zone, you can adjust your campaign schedules to compensate for the time difference.
  • Billing currency: AdMob won't charge you anything. However, if you decide to create paid ads in your Google Ads account later, this is the currency Google Ads will use to bill you for those ads. The currency for a Google Ads account is also permanently set during account creation and cannot be changed because it affects billing, reporting, and statistics. To use a different currency, a new Google Ads account must be created, and the desired currency must be selected during the setup process.
Note: Payment options depend on the country of your billing address and your selected currency. Use the payment info finder to determine what choices are available to you.
