Link your apps to Firebase

About Firebase and AdMob

You must first turn on user metrics in your AdMob account before you can link your AdMob apps to Firebase. However, the user metrics toggle will be discontinued in late 2023. Learn more about this change
Firebase is a development platform for mobile and web apps. With Firebase, you can quickly build high-quality apps, grow an engaged user base, and earn more money. The platform includes several tightly integrated features that you can mix and match, including analytics, a mobile-first backend, and app growth and monetization tools to help maximize app success.

What is Google Analytics?

Google Analytics is one of the many products available through the Firebase platform. It's a free-of-charge, unlimited mobile and web app analytics solution that's available to AdMob users. When you link your AdMob app(s) to Firebase, Google Analytics and AdMob can share data to improve app monetization and user engagement as well as offer enhanced reporting capabilities.

Introducing Firebase

Why link to Firebase?

Link your AdMob app(s) to Firebase so that you can use your linked Google Analytics account data in AdMob. To use your Google Analytics or Google Analytics for Firebase data in AdMob, your Firebase project must be linked to your Google Analytics or Google Analytics for Firebase account. Learn how to link your apps to Firebase

By linking AdMob to Firebase, your Google Analytics for Firebase data will be available to AdMob independent of your Google Analytics for Firebase Data Sharing Settings. This allows your Analytics data to flow to AdMob to enhance product features and improve app monetization.

Use the Google Analytics for Firebase SDK in your AdMob apps

By integrating the Google Analytics for Firebase SDK in your AdMob apps, you can take advantage of other features from Firebase and Google Analytics to further improve app monetization and user engagement.
