Reactivate a Google Ad Manager account

Note: If you’re a small business MCM child publisher and your account is deactivated:
  • Your account will need to be reactivated (similar to non-MCM accounts)
  • You’ll have to complete the identity and address verification process prior to monetization if you haven't been verified
  • Your relationships with parents will end and will need to be re-accepted prior to monetization
  • Parents will need to re-onboard any sites / inventory that you wish to monetize

You may be able to reopen a Google Ad Manager account by requesting reactivation.

Requesting reactivation requires having the Administrator user role on the account.

When you request reactivation, we review the request. The review usually takes about a day, but in some cases can take up to two weeks.

If reactivation is approved, you can begin using your account again after accepting the terms.

Reactivate the account

Note: Reactivation requires Admin permissions.

To reactivate the account:

  1. Sign in to your Google Ad Manager network with your account details (username and password). Do not attempt to reactivate through a manager account (MCC).
  2. Look for a Reactivate account button or a prominent notification prompting you to reactivate. This may appear immediately after logging in or on a specific account status page. Click the button.
Note: Immediately after closing your account, a confirmation page might show with a "Reactivate account" option. This page only appears once.

Troubleshooting

If you do not see the reactivation option, clear your browser cache and cookies. Alternatively, try accessing Ad Manager in an incognito or private browsing window. You may need to clear your cache more than once if the issue persists.

What if my account isn't reactivated?

If Ad Manager can't reactivate your account after you've followed the steps above (including troubleshooting like clearing cache/cookies or trying an incognito or private browsing window), try resolving any issues shown when you sign in, such as having a duplicate account, and resubmit your request. Learn more about common reasons accounts can't be reactivated.
