Problems with your PIN

Find out why your PIN might not have arrived yet
There are several reasons why you might not have received your PIN yet:
Possible reason What to check How to resolve
You haven't verified your identity. Have you submitted your ID for verification? If not, go to Payments and thenVerification check and submit it. Your PIN will only be sent after you successfully verify your identity.
You haven't received a PIN notification for your account. Is there a PIN notification displayed in Ad Manager?

If not, wait until your new account balance reaches the verification threshold.

For MCM MI child publishers, note that the verification threshold doesn’t apply. The pin will be sent to you as soon as you complete verification of your identity.

Your PIN hasn't been sent yet. Has it been a week since your account balance reached the verification threshold If not, allow at least a week for your PIN to be generated and mailed to you.

You haven't allowed enough time for your PIN to arrive.

PINs often take up to 4 weeks to reach you by mail, though it may take longer depending on your location.

Has it been 3 weeks since your PIN was sent?

To find out when your PIN was sent, in Ad Manager, click Payments and then Verification check. The date the PIN was sent shows under "Address verification."

If not, wait at least 3 weeks for your PIN to arrive.

If you still haven't received your PIN after 3 weeks, you can request a replacement PIN.

Your replacement PIN will be an exact duplicate of the original PIN. You can enter any of the PINs that you receive, regardless of which one arrives first.

Your payment address is not valid. Are the payment address details in your Ad Manager account correct? If not, change the payment address in your Ad Manager account.
After you've updated your address, wait 3 weeks from the date the last PIN was mailed to you, then request a replacement PIN be sent to your updated address.
Note: If you've requested the 4th replacement PIN and you still haven't received it after 3 weeks, please contact us.

Note for MCM publishers

For MCM Manage Inventory child publishers:

  • The verification threshold isn't used. Rather, address verification begins after ID verification is complete.
  • Ads sold via traditional transactions will continue to serve throughout the verification process. Programmatic transactions will not serve ads until the verification process is complete.
  • Timeline: All MCM children onboarded after April 3, 2024, are subject to these verifications.

FAQ

What is a valid payment address?

A valid payment address is one that can receive standard mail. Here's an example of a standard address format you can follow:
  • Address 1: house or block number, street name, neighborhood/district name, city name
  • Address 2 (if applicable): unit number, floor number, building name
  • Postal code: postcode, ZIP code

My address verification failed. What should I do?

If you incorrectly enter your PIN 3 times, you will fail the address verification and your account will stop showing ads. To reset your PIN verification limit, request a replacement PIN.
Note: Your PIN is a unique 6-digit number that Google generates when your account reaches the verification threshold. Your PIN is not the same as your publisher ID.

I haven’t passed address verification after 4 months and my programmatic ads aren’t showing now. What should I do?

If you haven't verified your address after 4 months, we'll stop showing ads on your inventory. To extend your address verification timeline, please contact us.
Note: Reservation campaigns will continue to serve

I requested multiple PINs. Should I wait for the latest PIN number?

Google generates a unique 6-digit PIN for each account. Your replacement PIN will be a duplicate of the original. If the original PIN arrives first, you may use it.
