Use the Policy center to help you resolve issues quickly and efficiently to minimize the impact to your ad serving. You can request a review of your site or app once you have fixed the issue, or if you believe your site or app has been incorrectly labelled with an issue.
Jump to: Determine the cause of the issue | Request a review | Review status
Determine the cause of the issue
To begin addressing the issues on your site or app, click Fix in the "Action" column. This will take you to the Issue details page, which provides a description of the issue we found on your site or app. This includes cases when the ad requests are coming from your pages that you've embedded into the sites with issues. Read the description carefully to determine what to fix on your site or app.
Tip: View examples of your issues
Remember, you're required to fix policy issues. We recommend you review regulatory issues and advertiser preferences, too, as you'll likely receive less advertising, which may impact your revenue. Learn more about policy issues, regulatory issues, advertiser preferences, and ad serving statuses.
If you’re still having trouble understanding the cause of the issue, refer to the Ad Manager Help Center policy section or check out the Google Ad Manager Help Community.
Tip: Prioritize your issues
If you have many sites and apps with issues, consider using the Policy center filters to help you prioritize which sites and apps to fix first. For example, you can filter for the sites and/or apps with the highest number of affected ad requests or filter for all the sites and/or apps with disabled ad serving, the most severe enforcement. Request a review
After you've made the required changes for a policy violation and/or the optional changes for a publisher restriction, or believe that an issue has been incorrectly labelled, you may request a review of your site or app.
Request a review of your site or app
- Sign in to Google Ad Manager.
- Click Admin and then Policy center.
- Click Fix next to the site or app you’d like to be reviewed.
- In the "Issues found" section, click Start review process.
- Review the information in the dialog box, and select your reason for requesting a review from the drop-down menu:
For sites:
- Removed the ad code: Select this if you've removed the ad code. Within 7–10 days of removing the ad code, the policy issues will no longer be displayed in the Policy center, but will remain in our system.
- Fixed the violations: Select this if you've resolved the policy issue on your site. If your appeal is successful, the enforcement will be removed from the page or site.
- I don't think these violations are present on this page: Select this if you believe the issue doesn't exist on the page or site and was incorrectly labeled. If your appeal is successful, the enforcement will be removed from the page or site.
For apps:
- I've fixed the issues for the app without uploading a new app version: Select this if you've resolved the issue through server-side or configuration changes without needing to upload a new version of the app. If your appeal is successful, the enforcement will be removed from all versions of the app.
- I've uploaded a new version of the app which contains the fix: Select this if you've released a new version of your app to address the issue. If your appeal is successful, the enforcement will be removed only from the new version; older versions will continue to be enforced as they still contain the issue.
- There are no issues on this app: Select this if you believe your app has been incorrectly labeled and no changes are required. If your appeal is successful, the enforcement will be removed from all versions of the app.

Review status
Check the "Status" column in the Policy center for updates about your review. If the status is Under review, your site or app is being reviewed and a decision hasn’t been made yet.
If your review is rejected, you’ll be notified via email and in the "Issues found" section. Review the policy violation details again to ensure you make the correct changes on your site or app. Once you’ve re-reviewed the policies and made additional changes, you can request another review.
If your review is successful, the enforcement will be removed from the Policy center and you’ll be notified via email.
