Ad Manager and Ad Exchange program policies

Resolve violations in the Policy center

The Ad Manager Policy center gives you detailed information about policy violations that have been found on your sites, site sections, pages, or apps, as well as the steps to resolve issues with ad serving and request reviews after you've made changes.

In the Policy center you can see:

  • Which of your pages, sites, or apps we've found to have policy violations
  • Information on why your site, site section, page, or app is in violation
  • The steps you need to take to comply with the program policies
  • How to request a review of your page, site, or app after you've addressed the violations

For policy violations, site-level, page-level and app-level violations appear in the Policy center. While page-level violations appear in Ad Manager notifications, site-level and account-level violations are sent to your email.

Access to the Policy Center

Users with the "Ad Exchange manager" role can automatically access the Policy center in Ad Manager to view and resolve violations. To remove the access for certain users, administrators can create and assign a custom role, which does not include the "View and resolve policy violations" permission.

The policy center covers Policy violations for both web and app.
