Important: Some of these steps work only on Android 13 and up. Learn how to check your Android version.
You can also find accessibility settings in Quick Settings, where you can quickly change your preferred text and content settings.
Tip: These settings can also be set up from the start in the setup wizard.
Change display size and text
Important: The font size setting doesn't apply to some apps.
To make your font size smaller or larger:
- On your device, open the Settings app.
- Search and select Font size.
- To change your preferred font size, move the slider left or right.
To make your display size smaller or larger:
- On your device, open the Settings app.
- Search and select Display size.
- To change your preferred display size, move the slider left or right.
Tip: You will find a preview of the change of your font and display sizes after you've set each slider to your preferred size; if you don't like it, reset your settings by tapping Reset settings. Your display size and text preferences will reset to the original setting of your device.
Use bold fonts- On your device, open the Settings app.
- Tap Accessibility
Display size and text.
- Turn Bold text on or off.
- On your device, open the Settings app.
- Tap Accessibility

- Turn High contrast text on or off.
- On your device, open the Settings app.
- Tap Accessibility
Colour and motion
Colour correction.
- Turn Use colour correction on.
- Choose a correction mode.
- On your device, open the Settings app.
- Tap Accessibility
Colour and motion
Colour inversion.
- Turn Use colour inversion on.
Use dark theme and colour inversion together
- Android 10 and up: If you open an app that doesn't support a dark theme, turn on colour inversion.
- Android 9 and lower: You can use only one of these settings at a time. If you turn on dark theme, colour inversion automatically turns off.
Change motion settings
Remove animations- On your device, open the Settings app.
- Tap Accessibility
Colour and motion.
- Turn Remove animations on.
- On your device, open the Settings app.
- Tap Accessibility
Colour and motion.
- Turn Large mouse pointer on.
- On your device, open the Settings app.
- Tap Accessibility.
- Turn Extra dim on.
