Use Google+ hashtags for better search
Increase visibility in your organization’s internal searches by adding hashtags to your Google+ posts. Then, when people enter that hashtag or word in your organization’s internal search, your post will appear in the results.
Note: A hashtag is a word or a phrase (without spaces) after the # symbol (for example, #cooking) that helps people find and join conversations about a particular topic. Clicking a hashtag shows related content.
Add a hashtag to your Google+ photos
- In Google+, click What’s new with you? and enter your post.
- Enter # before a word or phrase (without spaces).
- Next to your name is the audience you’ll share your post with. (Your administrator may set the default option to your organization). To change who you want to share the post with, click the blue text.
- Click Post.
