If you have Google Voice Premier, you can downgrade your subscription to Google Voice Standard. To downgrade a Voice Premier or Voice Standard subscription to Voice Starter, you first need to cancel your current subscription. Compare Voice subscriptions.
If you downgrade from Premier, you lose these features and services:
- International office locations—You can't assign phone numbers outside the U.S.
- BigQuery export—You can't export Voice activity to BigQuery.
Downgrade from Voice Premier to Voice Standard
You can downgrade from Voice Premier to Voice Standard in the Billing page of the Admin console.

Sign in with a super administrator account to the Google Admin console.
If you aren’t using a super administrator account, you can’t complete these steps.

Go to Menu
Billing > Get more services.
Requires having the Billing Management administrator privilege.
- At the left, click Google Voice.
- On Google Voice Standard, click Switch.
Downgrade to Voice Starter
If you have 10 users or less, you can downgrade to Voice Starter.
- Make a list of each user and their assigned phone number.
- Cancel your current Voice subscription.
After you cancel your subscription, do the following steps within 60 days, or you lose your phone numbers. - Add the Voice Starter subscription.
- Reassign Voice licenses to your users.
- Reassign Voice numbers to users, using your list to assign the correct number to each user.
