Are you a direct or resold customer?

Applies to G Suite, Cloud Identity Premium, and other paid services managed in the Google Admin console.

If you have billing or payment questions regarding your Google service, you need to know your customer type to find the correct option for getting help. Customer types fall into one of 2 categories:

  • Direct—You signed up for your service directly online.
  • Resold—You signed up for your service through a Google reseller.

Any customer with questions that are not related to payments or billing can contact G Suite support.

Follow these steps to find your customer type.

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. From the Admin console Home page, go to Billing.
  3. Next to your service subscription, if you see:
    • Actions—You’re a direct customer.

      For help with billing or payment questions, contact G Suite support.

    • Contact Reseller to Modify Order—You’re a resold customer.

      For help with billing or payment questions, contact your reseller.
