About your free G Suite trial

If you signed up for Cloud Identity Premium, learn about your free trial here.

When you sign up for G Suite, you start with a 14-day trial subscription. Your chosen payment method will not be charged until your trial ends. Up to 10 users can explore all the features of G Suite, including business email and online storage.

During your trial

See when your trial ends

Find out how many days are left in your trial period in the Google Admin console.

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. From the Admin console Home page, go to Billing.

Add more than 10 users

Your G Suite trial is limited to 10 users. To add more than 10 users, you must set up billing. When you add an 11th user, you are prompted to end your trial and your paid subscription begins for all users.

Starting your paid subscription

If you already added your billing information, you don’t need to do anything. Your paid subscription automatically begins when your trial ends.

To check your billing information:

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. From the Admin console Home page, go to Billing.

If your trial period ends and you haven’t set up billing, you'll receive an email that your G Suite account is suspended. You can still access the Admin console and all your data is retained, but users won't have access to email, storage, or other services. People outside your domain can still access files that you've shared with them.

You can reactivate your account by setting up your billing.

Cancel your trial

Cancel your trial and delete your account

Note: If you purchased your domain when you signed up for G Suite, follow the steps below.

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. From the Admin console Home page, go to Billing.
  3. Delete any other subscriptions you might have purchased along with G Suite, for example, additional Google Drive storage.
    1. Next to the subscription, click Actionsand thenCancel subscription.
    2. Follow the instructions to cancel your subscription.
  4. Next to your G Suite subscription, click Actionsand thenCancel subscription.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. To confirm your cancellation, click Yes, I am sure.

You’re signed out of the Admin console.

Note: After canceling G Suite, you can create a new G Suite account with this domain. You might have to wait up to 24 hours for your domain to be available for a new account.

Cancel your trial (domain purchased during signup)

If you purchased your domain or chose a domain that's free for one year when you signed up for G Suite, you'll continue to manage your domain in the Admin console after your trial ends.

Step 1: Cancel your trial

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. From the Admin console Home page, go to Billing.
    Your G Suite and Domain Registration subscriptions are listed.
  3. Next to your G Suite subscription, click Actionsand thenCancel subscription.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. To confirm your cancellation, click Yes, I am sure.

You’re signed out of the Admin console.

Step 2: Manage your domain

  1. Sign back in to the Admin console.
  2. From the Admin console Home page, go to Domains.
  3. Click Add/remove domains.

Step 3: Transfer your domain (optional)

If your domain is hosted by Google Domains, you can transfer your domain to another Google account.

Otherwise, you can transfer your domain to another host after 60 days from when you purchased it (according to ICANN regulations). For details, see transfer your domain to a different domain host.
