Migrate contacts to G Suite

If you're migrating to G Suite from Microsoft® Exchange or Office 365™, you can migrate contacts using the data migration service.

You must be signed in as a super administrator for this task.

Before you begin

Is my legacy environment supported?

Yes, if you're migrating from the following Exchange Web Services (EWS) environments: Office 365, Exchange 2013, Exchange 2010, or Exchange 2007.

If this isn't your legacy environment, consider using another migration tool.

Is my G Suite edition supported?

The data migration service supports G Suite EnterpriseBusinessBasic, and Education accounts.

Set up your legacy environment (required)

Before you can use the data migration service, you need to prepare the environment you're migrating from. For details, see Before you begin with the data migration service.

Migrate contacts

Set up the data migration service (required)
  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  5. Click Connect
