GCRS will be shut down on Nov 20, 2024

On November 20, 2024, Google will discontinue support for Google Calendar Resource Sync (GCRS).

What this means for your organization

After November 20, 2024, GCRS might not work as expected, and support services will not be available to assist you. We recommend that you take the following steps:

1. Review the usage of GCRS in your organization and inform your administrators and users that the product will not be supported after November 20, 2024.
2. Stop using GCRS, and uninstall it from your systems before it is discontinued.

Can I use GCRS beyond November 20, 2024?

We recommend that you don't use GCRS after the shutdown date as it might not function as expected, and you will not have access to support services.

Is it mandatory to uninstall GCRS on or before November 20, 2024?

No. However, we strongly recommend that before this date you stop using and uninstall it from users' computers. For details, go to Uninstall GCRS.

Are there any replacement products for GCRS?

No. Google has no plans for a replacement product at this time.
