Can I watch YouTube TV while travelling?

YouTube TV is available in the United States. You can enjoy YouTube TV while travelling in the United States, but programmes will vary by location.

• If you're a frequent traveller, make sure that you use YouTube TV at least once every three months in your home area to make sure that we can continue to offer you the correct local networks.
• If you're an MLB fan, make sure that you use YouTube TV once every 30 days in your home area. Checking in will help avoid MLB game-related viewing restrictions.
• If you move out of your home area (where you signed up) update your location in YouTube TV.

• Local networks for the location that you're visiting. Note: You can't record local programming outside of your home area.
• Local sports programmes, depending on content rights and which networks are available in that country or region. You may also see sports programmes from your home area if they're available in other countries and regions. Note: Sports programming can vary widely based on location and content rights. • Nationally available networks, including both live and on-demand programmes. Note: Some networks have different versions for different time zones. You'll see the live version that matches your travel location.
• All of your recorded programmes from your home area. Programmes will be recorded once they've completed airing on live TV.
• YouTube videos on YouTube TV.

• Search and browse for shows, events and movies.

International travel

You can't access any programmes on YouTube TV while travelling internationally.

Viewing restrictions on YouTube TV

If you're travelling, you may see restrictions on the live TV programmes that you can watch. You'll see this icon  if a programme that you're recording is not available to watch live. Your recording will be available in your library after the live programme ends.
