In YouTube Analytics, you can click SEE MORE beneath most reports to expand them. Expanded reports give you more options for getting data.
Use the esc key or select close to leave an expanded report.
Use the expanded report
Match the numbers of the following features to the image above to learn how to use the expanded report.

Filter analytics data by location
Use the Geography filter to get data for a specific geography.
- Sign in to YouTube Studio.
- From the left menu, select Analytics.
- On any card, click SEE MORE.
- At the top of the page, click Filter
Geography.
Choose the location/regions you want to get data for, then click APPLY.
Other filters available in YouTube Analytics
- Live/on demand: Filter to see what portion of your viewers watched your video live, or as a replay on demand.
- Subscription status: Filter data to find out what subscribers or non-subscribers watched.
- Translation use: Filter to see what portion of your viewers watched your video in its original language, or used subtitles in other languages.
- YouTube product: Get data from just one YouTube product. Choose between YouTube or YouTube Kids.
Why is my filter crossed out?
- YouTube Analytics doesn’t have that combination of report and filter you’re selecting
- Your video or channel doesn’t have enough traffic during the selected time period
Get data by age or gender
Use the Viewer age and Viewer gender dimensions to see how much of your traffic is coming from each demographic.
- Sign in to YouTube Studio.
- From the left menu, select Analytics.
- On any card, click SEE MORE.
- At the top of the page, select Viewer age or Viewer gender. You may need to select More to reveal these options.
