- Use a computer to open a long-form video.
- Under the long-form video, select Super Thanks

- Choose the amount that you want to spend.
- Each animation has a different price. If you pay more, you get a more elaborate Super Thanks animation.
- As an added bonus, you also get a distinct, colourful and customisable comment. To customise your Super Thanks comment, click the text box. You can also edit your comment after it's published.
- Select BUY AND SEND.
- To complete the purchase, follow the on-screen instructions.
Once you buy Super Thanks, your comment is posted in the comments section, with a colourful chip next to it. Your purchase amount is publicly viewable in your comment.

Comment moderation
Super Thanks comments must follow our Community Guidelines. Both creators and YouTube can moderate comments, including texts and graphics. Moderated comments can be removed at any time, for any reason and without notice. As a reminder, you can also

Community Guidelines when sending Super Thanks comments. If your Super Thanks comment is deleted, moderated or removed, you won't get a refund. If your Super Thanks comment is moderated and removed for violating our policies, YouTube will donate our portion of revenue to charity.

Creator revenue for Super Thanks
Creators receive 70% of Super Thanks revenue that is recognised by Google after local sales tax and applicable app store fees on iOS are deducted. Transaction costs, including credit card fees, are currently covered by YouTube.
