How do I download audio, music, or mp3 files from the YouTube app?

You can download a music video file, if available, by following the steps to download a video.  

It is not possible to download audio, music, or mp3 files from the YouTube app.

How do I download videos from YouTube to my computer?

You can download videos that you’ve already uploaded.

If you haven’t uploaded the video yourself, you can’t save it to a computer. You can download videos from the YouTube app to your mobile device only.

Why can't I see my downloaded YouTube videos in my gallery?

The videos are stored encrypted on the device and can only be accessed via the YouTube app.

How do I share videos on YouTube?

  1. Tap Share  below the video.
    1. Make sure that the box next to “Share as <your name>” is checked.

    2. Add an optional message to say something about the video.

    3. Select recipient(s) from your YouTube “Contacts” or “You may know” section.

  2. Tap Send .
