How does playlist analytics work

Playlist analytics uses video group reporting to show aggregated analytics for all videos in a playlist. For each of your playlists, you can access the Overview, Content, Audience and Revenue tabs to find aggregated insights for all of your videos in the playlist. Additionally, there are metrics to help you understand viewer behaviour within each playlist. Learn more about playlist metrics.
Videos excluded from playlist analytics

Several metrics in your playlist analytics do not include videos owned by other channels. These metrics aggregate all viewer activity on a video, regardless of whether it is watched in the playlist or elsewhere on YouTube. For example, total views, audience and revenue insights do not include videos from other channels.

Other metrics such as views from playlist, playlist watch time and playlist average duration include videos from other channels. These metrics only reflect viewer activity in the context of your playlist.

Remember that you can manage the videos in your playlists directly within YouTube Studio. Learn how to manage your playlist.
