If you can’t receive codes by text message or phone call because you don’t have your phone, there are other ways to access your account. To use these alternate sign-in methods, you need either a designated backup phone or your backup codes from when you set up 2-Step Verification.
If you have a backup method
- If you already set up a backup phone: You can have the code sent to your backup phone.
- If you wrote down your backup codes: You can use any of the backup codes that you haven’t previously used to sign in to your account.
If you don’t have a backup method
- If you haven’t already, follow the steps to recover your account.
- If you still can't get in, you can create a replacement Google Account.
