Note: Premium Lite on YouTube is currently only available in the United States, Australia, Germany and Thailand. We may expand to more users in the future.

With Premium Lite, you won't get ads on videos like gaming, fashion, beauty, news and more. However, ads may appear on music content, Shorts and when you search or browse. Premium Lite doesn't include YouTube Music Premium or features like video downloads and Background play.

Cancel your Premium Lite membership
To cancel your membership:
- Go to youtube.com/paid_memberships.
- Click Manage membership.
- Click Deactivate.
- Click Continue to cancel.
- Select your reason for cancelling and then click Next.
- Click Yes, cancel.

Upgrade your Premium Lite membership
To upgrade your membership:
- Go to youtube.com/paid_memberships.
- Click Learn more under Premium.
- Click Get YouTube Premium.
- Select your new Premium plan.
- Click Confirm.
