Authenticator is removing itself from the work container. How can this be stopped?

We recent began using the product with the intention of connecting it to intune.  We found that Authenticator is being removed from the work profile without notification.  Reinstalling it to the work profile produces the same situation.  Authenticator is installed on the Personal side.  Device is SM-G970U

I'd say this is either a conflicting Intune Configuration or a bug. You should raise this to the Intune support, they should be able to help, if possible please provide device logs while this is happening.

 We have not yet connected to a MDM platform, so it cannot be an Intune issue.  I do not see a place in the portal to pull logs from https://enterprise.google.com/u/0/android/experience/overview

We do not get a notification when it occurs.  Is the beta portal we are using the same as the paid version?

Oh ok I see you're using the Google Demo EMM/DPC, so either there is a policy in place that restricts you from having other apps that the one approved in the work profile, or there is a bug and you can pull the devices logs by connecting the device to your computer.
 
I believe this a policy issue rather than a bug, but you will need to investigate a little bit the policy and the devices logs

Thanks for the feedback.  

The policy section is pretty bare, all items are turned off and the runtime permission set to "grant all".  I have reinstalled Authenticator and it has stuck around for two days.  I will see if stays over the weekend.  The only thing different is I have NOT added an entry in Authenticator.

Can you tell me how I talk to someone about getting out of the Google Demo EMM/DPC and into the full version?  The contact form fails will an SSL error.
