Turn your work profile location on or off

Android 7.0 or later devices only

If any of your work apps collect location data, your administrator might be able to see your location. You can turn off location services for work apps, but still keep them turned on for your personal apps.

Note: If your device is company-owned, you'll receive a notification if your organization requires location access to be enabled for a work app. If location access is required, it can't be disabled.

How to

Some of this information might not be the same on every device.

1. On your device, go to Settings  Location  Location for work profile
2. Tap the Location for work profile switch to turn it On or Off.

Work profile location services follow your overall device location services. If you turn off device location services for your device, then your work profile location is automatically turned off, too. If you turn it back on, the device remembers the previous work profile location setting.
