When you search on Google for something like TV shows or your favorite video game, you might be able to get notifications for that topic.
Important: Notifications are only available for some trending topics, like people, places, or things.
Get notifications
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google app
.
- Search for a topic you want to follow, like a sports team or TV show.
- Next to a topic, tap Get notified
.
- If you don't find the bell from Search results, tap Menu

Stop getting notifications for a specific topic
If you don’t want to get notifications for a certain topic, you can manage your notifications.
In the Google app
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google app
.
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial

- To remove the notification, to the right of the topic, tap Remove
.
On google.com
- On your Android phone or tablet, go to google.com.
- Search for the topic.
- Tap Notifications on to stop getting notifications for that topic.

- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial

- Decide which notifications you want to turn on or off:
- All: At the top, turn All Google notifications on or off.
- One or more: Next to a topic, turn the notification on or off.
Delete your notification activity
- On your device, go to myactivity.google.com.
- Tap Other Google activity.
- Under "Your interests & notifications," tap Delete.
