Google Now with Google for Work accounts

If you got your Google Account through work or school, your organization might need to turn on Google Now for you.

Note: Some features, such as Gmail Now cards, aren't available when using Google Now with a Google Apps account.

Google Now is turned on by default.

Google Apps for Work, Education, and Government

Google Now needs to be turned on by an administrator before it can be used.

Instructions for administrators

To turn on or off Google Now for your team:

  1. Sign in to the Google Admin Console.
  2. Click Device management > Mobile > Device management settings.
  3. In the organization tree, select the organizational unit you want to modify.
  4. Scroll down to Android settings.
  5. Check Enable Google Now box.
  6. Click Save changes.
