Spam Links

I had noticed that my SEO rankings were dropping and a review of my backlinks shows that somebody is directing loads of spammy backlinks to my website.  I signed up to Monitor Backlinks and it shows that they are linking to my wordpress blog for my Magento website, as well as linking to images.

I attach a screenshot that shows examples.

Of course, I can go and disavow these links, however they keep coming.  Is there anyway to prevent this and also if I can somehow notify Google of this "attack"?

I also noticed that an ex web developer had somehow got into my Magento and added a line of code that allowed him to list himself as an Owner of my website.  Not sure if he is behind this, however I would like to get this resolved asap and also to find out if it is this that is affecting my rankings and how to stop it moving forward.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Amy

HI

Did you remove the other person from search console?

As for backlinks, that you had no hand in placing, then you can ignore them.

If you suspect this other person added them on your behalf, then try to contact the other sites to get them removed.

Generally the Disavow Tools should be used if you have a  manual action.

If you have a manual action against your site for unnatural links to your site, or if you think you're about to get such a manual action (because of paid links or other link schemes that violate our quality guidelines), you should try to remove those links from the other site.

If you can't get these links removed, then you should disavow those links to your website.
