Latest Wear OS version on Tag Connected watch, in Australia, passcode (pattern) setup, card added to Google Pay. Every morning, after charging and entering security pattern, Google Pay is no longer in the Apps list or in the Quick Settings. If I go to the App Store on the watch it says Google Pay is still installed, and I can then open it from there. When I can open it, it works fine.

This is like a problem people had earlier in 2018 where Google Pay would be disabled regularly. This is similar but now Google Pay doesn't show up at all. Sometimes it magically re-appears and I can't figure out why. Why is it disappearing??

I have the same behavior after i reboot my watch to get a wifi connection. I deactivate Bluetooth on the phone and restart the watch. Then I switch off Bluetooth on the watch and the pay quick setting is gone. Also the app disappears. 

As I can remember it is independently of the NFC setting (on/off) 

I hope we can set the quicksettings menu sometimes.

I am also having this issue. I did a factory reset and I was able to get Google pay to appear and work again but as soon as I updated wear os to the latest version, Google pay was disabled on my summit 2 with an error message saying that it wasn't available in my location, which is ridiculous given that I've been using it on my watch for months and it still works on my pixel 3.

Please be sure to report this via the Menu > Help & feedback > Send feedback option in the Wear OS app and Menu > Send feedback in the Google Pay app. I'm going to escalate this thread as well to see if we can find out if a policy has changed or anything like that.

I'm now in Singapore. When I purchased the summit 2, Google pay for wear os was working absolutely fine. I've been doing a bit more research and it seems that Google has purposefully disabled this feature for all but a select few countries with the latest wear os update. So what was once working absolutely fine is now completely and utterly unusable. The only reason I can think of Google doing this is for some legal reason regarding regulatory requirements for payment services. Either way, I'm severely disappointed at their lack of transparency and communication. It's no wonder people flock to Apple, as much as I hate their products and business practices, when they release something, it's usually always a global release.

Australia is supposed to be a supported country for Google pay on wear os.

@Oliver - yeah - it was working fine here until recently. Feels like a Wear OS update killed it. Google Pay on my Pixel 2 phone here in Aus has never missed a beat - always works.

Anyone else who was impacted notice different behavior today? For me, magically, the Pay app and Quick Setting were visible and usable from the get go this morning after unlocking the watch.

Fossil gen 5 as well and it seems to work as soon as you reset the watch, but shortly (20ish min) it gets disabled and re-enableing it wont do anyting....

Is there any other alternative app we could use?
