Moto 360 Battery drain, fix or trash? 0 Recommended Answers 3 Replies 7 Upvotes

Battery drain on Moto 360 sport is terrible.  Have factory reset, only installed stock pre loaded apps.  I'll check battery around 85-90%, go to an app and boom shutdown.  Hold down power for boot screen and get low battery notification.  3 hours battery life is not acceptable, I have seen a bunch of posts about this with no real resolution and seemingly like Moto/LG saying it's a wear 2.0 issue and google saying it's an OM issue.  Just be straight should I just throw this thing in the freaking trash already or what???

Hi Michael,
I agree - three hours of battery life is not acceptable. Does the Advanced > Watch battery option in the Wear OS app on your phone provide any details about what is consuming the battery? It would be great if you could attach a screenshot of that screen so we can get a better idea of what might be going on.

Here's a screenshot and a watch pic shortly after.  Once I captured the picture I went into play store on my watch to check if I had any updates available.  No updates available and once I went back to home on watch it powered off.

Have you talked to Motorola yet? This really seems like a hardware issue to me.

You should be able to contact them here:
