Crisis notifications and messaging

A custom message is sent to users who are expected to be affected by a crisis.

Local users impacted by a upcoming crisis receive both a push notification and inbox message. These messages include the following information: 

  • Crisis name
  • Crisis center details (location, phone, etc.) - required for messaging
  • Closure details (if available) 
  • Attribution to organization/user who submitted information
