Sync your calendar with Waze

Connect your calendar with Waze to get notifications when it's time to leave for upcoming events.

1. Tap
2. Tap Plan a drive
3. Tap Connect Calendar and toggle on or off
4. Allow Waze to access your calendar if asked
5. Tap OK

Note: Waze syncs with your device’s default calendar. If you’re using a third-party calendar app, make sure to sync it with the default calendar so your events appear in Waze.

Control which events are added to Waze

1. Tap
2. Tap Plan a drive
3. Tap Your calendars 
4. Tap each calendar in the list to show or hide it

Get “Time to leave” notifications

“Time to leave” notifications tell you when it’s the best time to leave. They’re based on real-time traffic conditions and expected drive time.

To get them:

• Make sure your calendar event has a navigable address in the location field, including street name, house number, and city.
  Note: If you see an option to Set address on the “Planned drives” screen, it means the address was entered incorrectly and no reminder will be sent. To set a navigable address:

1. Tap  
2. Tap the event 

OR

1. Tap  
2. Tap  Plan a drive
3. Tap Set address
