Set your username

Set a username to add your own flair and personality to the Waze experience.

Note: Until you set your own username, Waze automatically uses a generic one for you.

1.  Open Waze
2. Tap
3. Tap Settings
4. Scroll down and tap Account and login
5. Tap Username and type in the name you want to use
6. Tap Save

Note: Your username will be publicly associated with your full name across all Waze chat platforms. For example, if you're using Waze and are an active community member in the editors’ forum, your username will be publicly associated with your full name for current and future chats.

• When you report incidents on Waze
