What is it?
Supplemental coverage to reimburse you for out-of-pocket expenses resulting from unexpected accidents
What might it cover?
Insurance deductibles, co-pays, prescriptions, or medical bills
How does it work?
- Benefits are paid directly to you for covered medical expenses
- Typically, this policy pays after all other insurance/plans (Auto, Medical, etc.) coverage has been afforded
What does it look like?
- Zero dollar deductible
- Benefits period extends 1 year from the date of the covered injury
- Accidental death and dismemberment coverage:
- Specified payments for:
- Dismemberment or,
- Loss of Life, sight, speech, or hearing
