Contact us for lost items

Our Support team is happy to help try to reunite you with items you may have lost in a vehicle. However, we cannot guarantee items will be found, delivered immediately, or returned to you undamaged. 

Waymo is not responsible for items left behind in the vehicle after your trip ends and does not provide refunds or reimbursement for the value of lost items.  

Items will only be stored for 7 days. We do not save bottles, smoking-related items, umbrellas, or food.

Report a lost item

From a phone

If you have access to a phone, please call Support at 1 (844) 261-3753.

You can also use the Waymo One app. Tap Support at the bottom of the screen, then tap Call.

From the web

If you've lost your phone, you can contact Support by filling out our Lost and Found formonline.

Support will reach out to you with next steps. 

Retrieve a lost item

Retrieve your item at a Waymo depot

Once Support confirms your item is ready for pickup, you can visit the Waymo depot 7 days a week 8AM - 6PM local time.

Report a found item

From the passenger screen

If you’ve found an item in the vehicle during your ride, contact Support by using the passenger screen and button. Please don't take the item with you.
