What is a Trusted Tester?
Trusted Testers are part of a research group within Waymo One. This group may be asked to test new features and give feedback that helps us learn and improve.
How do I become a Trusted Tester?
Express interest in becoming a Trusted Tester through the Account tab of the Waymo One app.
What’s expected of me as a Trusted Tester?
By being a Trusted Tester, you agree to assist Waymo One in researching, analyzing, and improving the usability and experience of our products and services. We’re looking for lots of feedback about your in-ride and app experience, and an end-of-ride star rating for every trip if you can.
How do I give feedback?
Leave feedback at any time by going to the “Feedback” tab in the Waymo One app.
We’ll ask you to provide a star rating at the end of each trip. Include more detailed feedback on what went well and what we can improve — your honest opinions help us improve.
How long will I be a Trusted Tester?
Your participation will be at least 6 months, but this period may be extended based on factors such as how often you ride and share feedback.
Your participation is completely voluntary and you can opt out at any time by emailing support@waymo.com.
