- This feature operates differently based on the type of account you have. Learn more about Google Voice account types.
- If you have a Voice Starter standalone plan, you can delete numbers in the Google Admin console. Learn how to unassign or reassign a Voice number.
- You can only use credits for long-distance and international calls and texts.
- If you have a Voice Starter subscription, you can’t purchase credits. Charges for long-distance and international paid calls and texts will appear on your monthly invoice.
To make paid calls without a Google Voice subscription plan, buy credit from Google Voice.
If you used legacy Voice, you may still have notes in your inbox. These notes can be preserved or removed using Google Takeout and the legacy Voice interface. Even if you don't see your notes in legacy Voice, they may still be available in Google Takeout. To save your notes, use Google Takeout and download your data before the end of March 2022.
Note: This process will involve downloading your Notes data and removing unwanted notes on your desktop and in the Voice interface. For help on how to delete unwanted note data downloaded from Takeout, please visit the Google Voice Support Community.
