Share matters with other Vault users

When you use Google Vault for eDiscovery of your organization's Google Workspace data, you can share a matter with other people who work on the same project. For example, a legal assistant might create a matter and search for data, then save the query. The assistant can then share the matter with others so they can access the saved query to view and export the search results.

Who you can share with

  • You can share matters only with accounts in your organization. To share matters with users outside your organization, your Google Workspace administrator must create an account for them.
  • To open matters, the accounts you share with must have Vault privileges. Learn more
