Tag Manager Look up not working on one particular URL 0 Recommended Answers 0 Replies 0 Upvotes
Hi All
My client has a lot of analytics accounts (for various reasons) and they currently all work with one tag manager account. In this tag manager account, they currently have a lookup table in place. This table allows us to enter the domain name + the UA code and once published the UA code fires with no issues.
We add new UA codes and domain all the time with no issues but....
We recently tried to add the following URL example "sites.example.co.uk" and UA code to the lookup table but it will not work - The UA code does not fire. What makes it more confusing is that, If I add the same UA code into tag manager as it's own tag ... it fires the tag with no issues?
Yes, this is a workaround but ideally, we need this UA code to sit in the lookup...does anyone have any ideas as to why the lookup won't accept this domain? is there something I can change to make it accept it?
Please help
Ryan
