Google Analytics Individual Qualification 0 Recommended Answers 1 Reply 0 Upvotes

Hi I am trying to complete the Google Analytics Individual Qualification but what is in the tutorial is different to what I see, the tutorial mentions What do you want to measure and then you have to choose Web, Apps or Apps and web, but I cannot see this at all. Instead going through the wizzard as best I can it creates a stream and a measurement ID instead of a tracking ID, can someone please help?

Hello,

This is the Tag Manager forum, but I can answer your question. The issue you are experiencing is due to the new version of Analytics GA4. It is now the default when creating a new property. What you'll want to do is delete that property, and then go and create a new one. When you are creating the new proeprty, you should see it specifically say "Create a Google Analytics 4 property..." Below the setup box, you'll see a link labeled "Show advanced options." Click that, and then click the slider to enable the creation of a UA property in tandem with a GA4 property. The UA is the old version which you are used to, and what most testing material will be about. You should start familiarizing yourself with GA4, as that's where things are heading.
