Set up Complianz to obtain user consent

To capture valuable insights while protecting user privacy, you need to collect consent from your website users. We recommend you use a Consent Management Platform (CMP) or work with your Content Management System (CMS) to collect consent and send it to Google.

Step 1: Set up a consent banner

  1. In your WordPress implementation, install the Complianz plugin by navigating to the “Plugins” page.
  2. Click Add New, then search for Complianz. Install “Complianz – GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent”.
  3. Open the Complianz plugin settings and use the wizard to configure your banner. Confirm that your banner complies with the requirements in the Google EU User Consent Policy (EUUCP).

Step 2: Set up consent mode

You can enable consent mode in the wizard under “Statistics – Configuration”.
