You can use the tracking number to find out when to expect your delivery.

Use the tracking number

Important: Some countries and regions don’t have delivery tracking options. If your email doesn’t include a tracking number or link, tracking isn’t available.

  1. Go to your Google Store order history
  2. Find the order that you want to track.
  3. If there are multiple orders, select View order.
  4. Find the delivery that you want to track.
  5. Select Track delivery.

Find your tracking number

  1. Open the email account that you used to place your order.
  2. Search for a delivery confirmation email from the Google Store. If you have multiple orders or deliveries, find the email for the one that you want to track.
  3. Follow the instructions in the email to track your delivery.

Find the estimated delivery date

If your delivery option doesn’t have a tracking number, you can find the estimated delivery date range in your Google Store order history page:

  1. Go to your Google Store order history.
  2. Find the order that you want to track.
  3. Find the estimated delivery date.


  • Google will inform you if your estimated delivery date changes.
  • When the order is dispatched, you'll receive a confirmation email with the carrier-confirmed delivery date range and the tracking information.

Allow time for tracking information to be available

Some carriers take up to 24 hours to add your tracking information. If your tracking number isn’t on the delivery website, try again in a few hours.

Understand signature requirement (US and CA only)

At the time of purchase, you have the option to require a signature for your order. If you can’t find the option, it means that your order doesn’t contain an eligible device.

Tip: If Fedex is assigned as the carrier for your delivery and you have chosen a commercial delivery address, a signature may not be required even if you requested one to be required.

To know whether your order requires a signature, you can check your:

  • Order confirmation email
  • Order shipped email
  • Tracking information


  • The carrier usually tries to deliver your parcel three times before they return it to the warehouse. To avoid delivery delays, be available to sign for your signature-required parcel.
  • To ensure that you get your order, you must sign for your parcel at the time of delivery. Signature confirmation helps to prevent your delivery from being lost or stolen.

Change the signature requirement for your order (US and CA only)

  • Within the first hour after you’ve placed the order: You can contact Google Store support and request to change the signature requirement.
  • If it’s more than an hour after you’ve placed your order: The signature requirement can’t be changed, even if you contact Google Store support.

Options if you can't sign for the package in person (US & CA only)


  • Pre-sign for your parcel with FedEx Delivery Manager (FDM).
  • If you missed the delivery and the driver left a door tag with instructions, sign the door tag and leave it on your door so that FedEx can deliver your parcel on the next attempt.
Tip: You can ask for a hold so that you can pick up your parcel at a FedEx location for up to seven calendar days. You can also ask for an extension on a current hold. For holds and hold extensions, call FedEx on 1-800-463-3339 or use your FDM account.


  • Pre-sign for your parcel with UPS My Choice (US link or CA link).
  • If you missed the delivery and the driver left a UPS InfoNotice (US link or CA link), follow the instructions on the InfoNotice to get your parcel.
Tip: You can customise your deliveries. For example, you can reroute your parcel to a UPS Access Point location for pick-up for up to seven calendar days or extend a current hold. To customise your delivery, call UPS on 1-800-742-5877 or use your UPS My Choice account.

UPS Mail Innovations

If your carrier is UPS Mail Innovations, UPS picks up the parcel and gives it to USPS for the last mile of delivery. Typically, you don’t have to sign for a parcel that UPS Mail Innovations delivers.
