The EU has said specifically that a notice about non-privacy intrusive cookies used for tracking visits is no longer necessary

The so called "cookie provision", which has resulted in an overload of consent requests for internet users, will be streamlined. New rules will allow users to be more in control of their settings, providing an easy way to accept or refuse the tracking of cookies and other identifiers in case of privacy risks. The proposal clarifies that no consent is needed for non-privacy intrusive cookies improving internet experience (e.g. to remember shopping cart history). Cookies set by a visited website counting the number of visitors to that website will no longer require consent.

No, sorry. You could try some code from the internet in the Embed Code box but it won't give you what you want as it will not cover the site:

Hi Steegle, and thanks again. Im doing some experiments, even if i know cookie pop-up is not a mandatory for the law in this case. However, i have found this code to insert with embed function:

<script type="text/javascript" id="cookieinfo"
src="//cookieinfoscript.com/js/cookieinfo.min.js"
data-bg="#645862"
data-fg="#FFFFFF"
data-link="#F1D600"
data-cookie="CookieInfoScript"
data-text-align="left"
       data-close-text="Acconsento">
</script>

the pop-up now is ok now, but i need to customize text and especially the LINK to my privacy/policy and not to wikipedia ;) Could you help me? thanks

  • Vote up a post.
  • Correctly mark a topic or post as abuse.

Having a post marked and removed as abuse will slow a user's advance in levels.
