Remove a seasonality adjustment

You can remove a seasonality adjustment from Search Ads 360 entirely or just from selected bid strategies. You can also reactivate seasonality adjustments that have been previously removed.

Remove a seasonality adjustment from Search Ads 360

You can't remove a seasonality adjustment event after it has started. As a workaround, you can try ending the seasonality adjustment event sooner.

1. Navigate to an advertiser.

   Steps for navigating to an advertiser

   1. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

   2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

   3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

   4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

   Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

2. In the left navigation panel, click Bid strategies.
3. Click the Events tab.
4. Select the checkboxes for the seasonality adjustments that you want to remove. 
   If you're having trouble finding the items that you want to remove, you can filter the list to only show seasonality adjustments.

    

   1. Click Filter, and then click + Attribute.

   2. Use the search box to find Event type and click it.

   3. Clear the Data exclusion checkbox and leave the Seasonality adjustment checkbox selected.

   4. Click Apply filters.

5. Click Edit, and then click Remove.

   The seasonality adjustment is removed from all the bid strategies it was applied to.

Remove a seasonality adjustment from selected Search Ads 360 bid strategies

You can't remove a seasonality adjustment event after it has started.

1. Navigate to an advertiser.

   1. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

   2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

   3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

   4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

   Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

2. In the left navigation panel, click Bid strategies.
3. Click the Events tab.
4. Select the checkbox next to a seasonality adjustment.
5. Click Edit, and then click Edit details.

6. Do any of the following to remove the seasonality adjustment from a bid strategy:

   • In the list of selected bid strategies on the right, click the Remove button .

   • Above the list of selected bid strategies, click Remove all to remove the seasonality adjustment from all of the bid strategies.

   • In the list on the left, clear the bid strategy's checkbox.

7. Click Save.

Reactivate a seasonality adjustment

You can't reactivate a seasonality adjustment event after it has started.

1. Navigate to an advertiser.

   Steps for navigating to an advertiser

   1. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

   2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

   3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

   4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

   Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

2. In the left navigation panel, click Bid strategies.
3. Click the Events tab.
4. Next to "Show", click the All but removed button, and then click Show all.

5. In the "Status" column, click the down arrow (▾) next to the red x (x), and then click Active.
    

   The seasonality adjustment is restored and applied to selected bid strategies.

6. Optional. Repeat the previous step for each seasonality adjustment that you want to reactivate.
