Use a bulksheet to create Yahoo! Gemini location targets

You can use a bulksheet to set the location targets that you want to include or exclude, and set location target bid adjustment in Yahoo! Gemini accounts. You can’t use a bulksheet to edit or remove location targets or change the bid adjustments. You can't edit or remove Yahoo! Gemini location targets or change bid adjustments in Search Ads 360.
You can remove location targets using the Yahoo! Gemini user interface, but you can’t set or change the bid adjustments. If you make changes in Yahoo! Gemini, be sure to sync the changes in Search Ads 360.

Complete the following steps to download a bulksheet that you can use as a template to add locations to include or exclude. The campaigns or ad groups that you select should already specify at least one included and at least one excluded location target. You'll then specify new location targets in the bulksheet and upload it.

Use a bulksheet to specify location targets in Yahoo! Gemini campaigns

1. Navigate to a Yahoo! Gemini account.

2. In the reporting table, do either of the following:

   • Select the check box next to the campaigns that you want to update. Be sure to select at least a few campaigns that already specify location targets.
   • Filter the table to display campaigns that you want to change.

3. Download an editable bulksheet that contains the campaigns that you want to update.

   1. Click the download icon  which appears above the reporting table.
   2. Leave the default settings selected.
   3. Select the following check boxes:
      • Campaign location targets
      • Negative campaign location targets
   4. Optional. If you also want to specify ad group location targets, also select the following check boxes: 
      • Ad group location targets
      • Negative ad group location targets
   5.   Click Download.
4.  To include a location, in the bulksheet, copy a Location target row to a new row.  
5. Complete the following columns to include a location target in a campaign.

   Column	Description
   Row type	Location target
   Action	create
   Campaign name	Specify the name of a campaign.
   Target ID	If you copied a location target row to a new row, clear the Target ID column in the new row.
   Location	Specify one geographic location, such as a DMA, province, or country.
   Location bid adjustment %	Specify a percentage to increase or decrease bids. Include the percent symbol, %. To decrease bids, include a minus sign. For example, -20%.

6. Optional. Repeat the preceding step to add other geographic locations.
7. To exclude a location, copy a Negative location target row to a new row.
8. Complete the following columns to exclude a location in a campaign.

   Column	Description
   Row type	Negative location target
   Action	create
   Campaign name	Specify the name of a campaign.
   Target ID	If you copied a location target row to a new row, clear the Target ID column in the new row.
   Location	Specify one geographic location, such as a DMA, province, or country.

9. Optional. Repeat the preceding step to exclude other geographic locations.
10. Upload the bulksheet to the Yahoo! Gemini account.

 

Use a bulksheet to specify location targets in Yahoo! Gemini ad groups

1. Navigate to a Yahoo! Gemini campaign.

2. In the reporting table, do either of the following:

   • Select the check box next to the ad groups that you want to change. Be sure to select at least a few ad groups that already specify location targets.
   • Filter the table to display ad groups that you want to change.

3. Download an editable bulksheet.

   1. Click the download icon  which appears above the reporting table.
   2. Leave the default settings selected.
   3. Select the following check boxes:
      • Ad group location targets
      • Negative ad group location targets
   4. Click Download.
4.  To include a location, in the bulksheet, copy an ad group location target row to a new row.  
5. Complete the following columns to include a location in an ad group.

   Column	Description
   Row type	Ad group location target
   Action	create
   Ad group	Specify the name of an ad group.
   Target ID	If you copied a location target row to a new row, clear the Target ID column in the new row.
   Location	Specify one geographic location, such as a DMA, province, or country.

10. Upload the bulksheet to the Yahoo! Gemini account.
