Inventory campaigns depend on a feed, which you would normally update as your inventory changes. To make sure both the feed and campaigns are operating as expected, review the following pages in Google Merchant Center and Search Ads 360 on a regular basis:
-
Any time you update your feed, review the Diagnostics tab in Google Merchant Center. If Google Merchant Center rejects or removes a product, your inventory keyword campaign in Search Ads 360 may remove related ads, ad groups and keywords.
-
In Search Ads 360, make sure there are no errors in your inventory templates. Search Ads 360 uses inventory templates to generate and update campaigns, ad groups, and other items based on feed data. Errors in inventory templates indicate incompatibilities between your feed data and inventory plan settings.
-
Make sure the inventory plan's inventory account is active. Search Ads 360 will not make any updates if the inventory account is paused or removed.
To view the status of the inventory account, click Inventory management in the left navigation pane and view the status column on the Inventory accounts tab.
Contact support
Contact customer support if all of the pages mentioned above appear to be OK, but you notice any of the following:
-
You've updated your feed within the past 24 hours, but the Inventory updated column on the Inventory plans tab shows that Search Ads 360 hasn't loaded the updates yet. A lag of more than 24 hours could indicate a problem with Search Ads 360.
-
The Templates evaluated column on the Inventory plans tab shows that Search Ads 360 hasn't evaluated your templates during the last 24 hours.
